ERNIE CHILDS EXHIBITION: Cley Marshes 26th-9th December Original oil paintings by Ernie Childs

Ernie will be exhibiting a range of stunning new paintings at NWT Cley Marshes for two weeks from the 26 November until Friday 9 December. The exhibition is free to enter at the Cley Marshes visitor centre and will be open usual hours, 10am till 4pm.

Some of the paintings to be exhibited and also for sale are the driftwood collector and the cockle picker as featured above. These smaller than usual paintings are part of a series or can be purchased individually, framed or unframed, prices on request. The paintings also feature on a pair of the new limited edition tankards.

 NEW limited editions on sale now

For centuries local ladies have carried out these small scale trades. Some of those trades depicted on the new limited editions are still in operation today around the Norfolk coastline. The pair of tankards are in rockingham brown and  royal blue glaze with a carved handle. The first tankard depicts the herring lady, the cockle picker and the crab collector. The 2nd tankard features the lavender picker, the driftwood collector and the seaweed girl. All the pictures are from original oil paintings by Ernie(also for sale).

These are limited to 100 pairs only and are priced at £35 each or £60 the pair. Postage and packaging can be offered at a small fee of £3 each.
